More than the Miracle

The man asked Jesus to come to his home and heal him. Therefore, his belief was only tied to the fact that Jesus could only heal in person, assuming the laying on of hands. Jesus recognized some beliefs but wanted the father to take that belief deeper. This man believes that Jesus can heal his son in person, but can he believe that Jesus can heal his son with just a word?
