Unresolved Conflict and the Distance of Neglect
Feb 23, 2025 • Pastor Bernard Jackson
Conflict is a part of life. Whether in marriage, friendships, workplaces or even in the church, we face disagreements. When these conflicts are left unresolved, they create emotional wounds, distance, and even resentment. They affect those directly involved and spread tension to others around them, creating division and disharmony. Most importantly, unresolved conflict hinders our relationship with Christ. Matthew 5:23-24 (NKJV) states, "Therefore if you bring your gift to the altar, and there remember that your brother has something against you, leave your gift there before the altar, and go your way. First, be reconciled to your brother, and then come and offer your gift."
