The Greatest Gift is Love

No matter how gifted, anointed, oily, or popular we may be, our gift is in vain if we do not have love. In today's culture, the "how" we express our gift is just as important as the "what" our gift is. I've been in church long enough to see gifts used in loving and non-loving ways. Some people in the church are known as the "nice ones," and I'm not here to debate whether authoritarian love methods are necessary. I understand that we are dealing with a more sensitive generation both within and outside the church.
